Welcome to the Nelson Fringe Show Submission form! We're excited to see what you're cooking up for 2020. The festival will run from 1-9 May 2020!

Show Registrations are open from 20 December 2019 - 20 January 2020. You will be contacted with any questions from the Fringe team and then you will be notified early February to confirm your slot.

2. YOUR SUBMISSION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR $50 SUBMISSION FEE INTO THE NELSON FRINGE BANK ACCOUNT. YOU CAN DO THIS ANY TIME BEFORE 5 PM, 20 JANUARY 2020.

The Festival Vibe
Our focus is to bring artists together to connect, grow, share and celebrate. The dates this year are 1 May - 9 May.
Do you plan to attend the festival for the full week, partial week or are there specific dates you wish to be programmed? (Not guaranteed) *

We request if you plan to do extra performances of your show around the Nelson/Tasman region that you do so AFTER the completion of the festival and NOT before or during festival dates. Any production that schedules additional shows to be performed in the region during the festival dates will be removed from the programme. Please confirm you understand this requirement. *
If you are offered a slot and you CONFIRM in writing, we will expect you to attend the Fringe. If for some reason you have to withdraw your submission AFTER confirmation, there will be a fee of $150. Would there be anything that might prevent you from presenting your show in Nelson? (ie. lack of funding, specific dates not available, cast commitment). Please also keep in mind that if you cancel after the confirmation date 20 February, we cannot refund your submission fee and your cancellation fee will be on top of this. *

The newest addition to our festival is the Code of Conduct. This is basically a "Don't be a Dick" document which outlines the ethos of the festival and the behaviour we expect of festival participants, volunteers, team and audience. It is to protect everyone and to ensure you have a good time. Please confirm you have read the Code of Conduct and please pass it on to all other members of your cast and crew to read. *
