9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Gregg Museum Front Lawn

Join the Gregg Museum staff for a family fun day on the front lawn, featuring several local artists and organizations in the Triangle area! The Scrap Exchange will be leading a MAKE ART NOT TRASH! creative activity from 9-11 a.m. and there will be an interactive workshop led by Jeghetto from 11-11:45 a.m. The Raleigh Bubble Man and Howling Cow ice cream will be available during the duration of the event.

The Scrap Exchange is a reuse crafting station. Using preloved materials from their reuse center, there will be several blue barrels of large structural items and boxes of smaller decorative materials to make Scrap Magic come to life. Help everyday items enjoy a second life through reuse art!

Tarish Pipkins aka Jeghetto has been building and performing with his unique style of puppetry for over 20 years. Join Jeghetto as he shows off his moving sculptures in his interactive production titled Jeghetto’s Workshop. It’s an amazing family show for all ages.

Ken Thomas, also known as the Raleigh Bubble Man, travels around Raleigh giving free bubble shows to the public. You may spot him at local parks and museums around Raleigh. We’re blown away!

Howling Cow is made on NC State’s campus in the Department of Food, Bioprocessing, and Nutrition Science’s Feldmeier Dairy Processing Lab in Schaub Hall. The facility is proudly student operated and is a tasty way to support the education of tomorrow’s dairy leaders — and our great state.
