The Missing Pages Feedback Form
The goal of this project is to highlight science from around the world that disrupts the idea of Eurocentric/Western science. From a historical perspective, experts from academia and communities that are underrepresented in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) will emphasize that our understanding of science (in a western context) has been shaped by people from outside of Europe.
The series includes 5 videos each with a different theme:
Video 1 - Science Communication - The Science of Paper Making & Science Communication
Video 2 - The History of Mathematics from South Asia, East Asia & the Middle East
Video 3 - Food Systems - Food Security and Food Sovereignty in Indigenous & Black Communities
Video 4 - Medical Science - The History of Circulation and Blood Disorders
Video 5 - Science of Racism - The Legacy of the Eugenics Movement and Response in Latin America
We want your feedback about this video series! What do you like about it? Does it impact your thinking about science and racism? You can provide general comments about the entire series (regardless of whether you've seen all 5 videos in season 1) and then provide specific comments about each video (optional).
We will not collect any information that will identify you personally. Very few questions are mandatory so you can skip ones as necessary - but of course we appreciate all of your answers! It will take about 10-15 minutes to complete first three sections of this survey.
SECTION A - Self-Identification
SECTION B - More about you
SECTION C - Feedback on the theme of racism and science
SECTION D* - Individual feedback on specific videos (optional, choose as many videos, 1-5, to provide comments on as you like)
*The last section is optional. We estimate that it will take about 10 minutes to complete one video feedback section (not including watching the video)
Thank you for taking the time to help us develop the second season of this series!
