Digging in parks can cause damage to the lawns and underground infrastructure and could cause a tripping hazard to other people.  You are responsible for not causing damage while you are metal detecting in our parks.  Small plugs in the lawn are generally ok so long as they are carefully repaired.  Do not cut plugs in the lawns during winter months as this could leave damage in the lawns for an extended periods of time.  If you are unsure if what you want to do is acceptable, please call our office and ask questions.  Thank you!
