This is a co-created event - we'll ask everyone to pitch in, with ideas, skills, hopes for the future. Could you say what type of team you might like to join?
Logistics team: figuring out accommodation, food, the route.
Comms team: press, film, twitter
Mechanics: helping make sure everyone's bike is ride-ready and safe
Well-being team: yoga, mediation, doctors, people trained in first aid, mediators
Events team: we'll want to be connecting with communities along the ride. Schoolkids, community centers, speakers
Finance team: dealing with the money, insurance, grants etc

We know that activist grassroots groups in the global south receive very little NGO funding. They are on the frontlines. We are thinking about whether this ride could act as a fundraiser. Would you be interested in fundraising?
