Improving Gender Equity in Schools: Interest form

This project proposes a collaboration with students and teachers in Colorado middle and high schools to support education and student-designed projects to improve gender equity. This will be supported and led by Dr. Elizabeth J. Meyer who has been researching and teaching on Title IX and gender equity in K-12 schools for 20+ years.

This project is linked a grant proposal submitted to the CU Timmerhaus Fund Ambassadors. 4-6 participating teachers will get a $300-500 stipend at the end of the project if you choose to participate in follow-up meetings and share the results of the student action project. All projects must be completed by December 2024.
