Call for Volunteers
Last year's event was out biggest yet and we need help to make 2019 a success and to keep things on track! We have plenty of things to do and all we need are volunteers. Yet again this is a tight schedule so you must be willing and able to get up and running ASAP and drive your activities quickly.

Please make sure you read and agree to our Statement of Commitment before signing up: https://www.securitybsides.org.uk/files/VolunteerSoC.pdf

There are a number of different roles with some requiring your participation both on the pre-event activities and on the day. Please make sure that you are committing to see the activity throughout it's cycle.

So if you are up for the challenge and can spare some time starting ASAP, please contact us and let’s now what you are interested in at londonevents at securitybsides.org.uk

The Roles
-------------
On-The-Day: We are building a team that will be called to help out during the day with different responsibilities. You will be asked assigned to various tasks through out the day to help out where needed. As well as you will get time off to view the talks.

CfP Board: Prepare, launch and manage the call for presentations/papers. You will also need to organise the vote and run the speaker operations on the day.

Badge Team: Help prepare and design a cool badge for the event. Try to go beyond our usual paper badge.

Rookie Track Board/Organisers: Prepare, launch and manage the call for rookie presenters and their mentors. You will need to match rookies who sign up with mentors (This is not the place you sign up to be a rookie or mentor)

Pre-Event Challenges: Help find, prepare/integrate and then publish challenges for our community to play before the event to earn prizes and tickets.

Workshop Organisation: Prepare, launch and manage the call for workshops. You will also need to decide how workshops are selected and run the workshop operations on the day. Note like in 2018, the workshop track will happen on the day before (Tuesday).

Hiring Ground Team: Help prepare and organise a dedicated hiring (i.e. career track) ground activity. Depending on the schedule this may happen along side the workshop day or in the evening.

Website maintenance: Help as a webmaster to archive last year's pages and help put up new pages and general web admin duties.

You'll be able to select which teams would be your preference on the next screen.
