Directors Gathering: Director Membership Scholarship Application
Directors Gathering will award 2020 Director Membership scholarships to theatre directors at all tiers whose theatre income has been impacted by COVID-19 cancellations and closures.

ELIGIBILITY AND INFORMATION:

The Directors Gathering Director Membership Scholarship Application will open on Friday, May 1st, 2020 and be accepted on a rolling basis for individuals at all tiers who have lost income through their work in directing and who would make use of a 2020 Director Membership at Directors Gathering.

We welcome applications from all directors who work in the theatre industry at all tiers. Directors living outside of the Philadelphia region are eligible to apply as well. Programming for the foreseeable future will be produced digitally and available online.

Director Membership scholarships are issued on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Directors Gathering Director Membership Scholarship Fund is limited, however, we will continue to fundraise to support this Fund throughout 2020.

TIMELINE:

Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis. You will be notified regarding the status of your application upon Directors Gathering's review.

Please note that submitting an application does not mean you will automatically receive a scholarship.

If ACCEPTED, we will communicate the next steps for confirming your membership benefits and tier. If WAITLISTED, we will work to review your application for the next round of awards in the order that we received it.
