• EMSA Club teams are required to make a commitment that if they qualify for a post season spot they will fulfill their obligation by attending the competition they have qualified for. Teams who commit (say ‘yes’ via this form) and then withdraw any time after the deadline will be assessed an administration fee (fees range from $500 upwards of $2500).
• U13—U19 Guest Teams (non EMSA Members—Swan City, Fort St. John Northern Strikers, Ponoka, Renegades, SC Central, Camrose, Battle River/Leduc, Fort McMurray Fury, Yellowknife) do not need to fill out this form as they cannot advance to Provincials on an EMSA berth. Please check with your own office for Post Season Information.
• Please keep in mind that more berths can be ADDED or berths can also be REMOVED until we have final declaration confirmation from Alberta Soccer in mid-late June.
• As ASA sometimes awards extra Provincial berths to EMSA please keep your team prepared to advance to Provincials even if it looks like you will not qualify just in case an extra berth or two is awarded if you have said yes on this form.
• Provincial competitions can be located around the Province. ASA determines locations usually mid-late June and will post them on the Alberta Soccer website. The financial obligations of traveling for Provincials must be discussed with the families of your players by the team officials before you commit.
• Tier 1 Provincials are being held August 21 - 24, 2025.
• Tier 2 & 3 Provincials are being held August 8 - 10, 2025.
• A separate breakdown of which divisions and spots qualify has already been sent to the team officials.
