BCSD School of Choice Application
Barnwell County School District (BCSD) will offer school choice opportunities, the opportunity to attend schools outside of one’s regular attendance zone, during the 2025-2026 school year. This option allows students who reside in Barnwell County to attend any school within the county, regardless of the area in which the student lives, tuition-free. 

To register your child for a school choice opening, you must be a legal resident of Barnwell County and must be able to furnish proof of residency. To apply for school choice, please complete the application information below.  Important:  Families do not have to re-apply for the next year if they are already enrolled in a given school.  For more information, visit https://www.bcsd.net/school-choice/guidelines.

The BSCD School of Choice Application will be shared with families on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The due date for completing and submitting the application is no later than 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Please note: Bus transportation for children attending schools outside of their regular attendance area is not provided.
