Delivering Student-Ready STEM Education: Critical Competencies for Student Success is an immersive professional development experience that engages faculty in the process of examining current practices and exploring innovative pedagogical approaches that can be applied to the needs and goals of colleges.

RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE:
All members of your college are welcome to attend, but for this particular Academy, we strongly encourage Vice Presidents of Instruction, STEM/STM Deans, Academic Senate Leadership, Professional Development Coordinators, STEM/SMT faculty members and Support Staff for Instruction to attend.

REGISTRATION:
All institutions will register as “teams” and work collaboratively throughout the academy. The designated team lead is responsible for communicating program information to the team and contacting EI staff regarding any questions. Teams will consist of up to 10 participants from your campus.

1. Complete Team Registration to secure your seats for the Academy
2. You receive a follow up message from Katrina Pantig regarding the program and other logistic information
3. You will receive an invoice via email.

COST:
$10,000 for a group of up to 10 people per team. This cost includes the registration fee and breakfast and lunch for April 15 and April 16, 2020. This amount is not inclusive of travel and lodging.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: March 1, 2020 (or until we reach the maximum capacity). Please take note that it is not required to have the list of team members in order to register for the academy.

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:
To cancel your registration and receive a full refund, email Katrina Pantig at pantigk@smccd.edu and enter “2020 Equity Academy” in the subject line within 10 days of your registration. All cancellation/refund requests made after the 10 day period will receive a refund of the amount paid minus a $3,000.00 service and processing fee. After March 15, 2020, there will be no refunds for a cancellation.

• No refund amount will be granted for no-shows.
• Registration may not be transferred to a future Academy.
• In the unlikely event the conference is cancelled, the Equity Institute will refund 100% of the registration fees paid.
