Serving on the board is a 3 year commitment which provides numerous benefits to the individual. Board members participate in highly respected diverse professional networks, are introduced to senior executives, are exposed to different leadership styles, corporate cultures, business models, and given opportunities to apply formal business development skills, such as leadership, public speaking and advocacy.
Board participation includes monthly conference calls, assisting standing committees and representing SMANA within your geographic area.
We are looking for a diversity of experience from across different change agent disciplines such as behavioral sciences, health educators, design thinkers, etc. We also need support from a CPA and/or an attorney.
