Campaign Organiser Application
Organised in collaboration with Friends of the Earth Scotland and the Ethnic Minority Environmental Network, our year-long Campaign Organisers programme will equip you with the skills, confidence and support to organise in your community and run effective local campaigns.

Applications are welcome from across Scotland, both within and beyond the Friends of the Earth network. We welcome application from participants of all identities, ages and experience levels. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic communities, those from working class or low-income backgrounds, and other communities underrepresented in the environmental justice movement.

You should have:

• 2-3 hours per week to commit for at least one year
• An interest in environmental and climate justice
• Some previous experience of activism or working with community organisations
• A determination to be part of a movement that makes a difference

Please fill in the following questions by 5pm on Monday 11th February to be considered for a space.
Answers do not need to be longer than around 250 words per question.

If you are selected we will then arrange a time for a telephone interview to explore if the programme is right for you.

Participation in the Campaign Organiser programme is free. Funds for travel to the residential trainings is available for those who need it.

If you have questions about the programme or application please contact us at kwhitaker@foe.scot
