The 6th Annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference 2019:Rooted in Solidarity and Liberation
The annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYECon) is an all day conference which aims to provide resources and tools to all youths and their families, regardless of their immigration status to be empowered and organize within their communities. Our theme, “Rooted in Solidarity , Fighting for Liberation”, connects us not only to our migration history and the policies that forced many of us to migrate, but to a path where we can build towards collective liberation. We have 3 tracks designed for High School Students, College Students and Educators.

Entrepreneurship Regardless Immigration Status
Reimagining Our Future : Graduating with out DACA
Making Institions Accessible For Undocumented Students
Supporting Students Into Defining Their Own Success

The conference will be held on
Friday, May 24th, 2019 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice
