ENGR Admission Reevaluation Request
In order to be eligible for admission into the A. James Clark School of Engineering, students must have completed all of the engineering gateway requirements. Therefore, any student who submitted an application to UMD with gateway courses in progress would have been placed into Letters & Sciences upon admission rather than offered placement into engineering.

The purpose of this form is to allow students to request that their application to ENGR be reevaluated after completion of pending gateway requirements. Students may submit this form on a rolling basis up until the first day of classes.

In order to complete this form, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Students must have already been admitted to UMD;
2. Students must meet our gateway admission requirements;
3. Students must submit an updated transcript to UMD with all gateway admission requirements posted.

Please note that this is NOT an appeal form. Any student who does meet our gateway requirements and who wishes to appeal their admission decision should contact transfer_engr@umd.edu for more information.
