This year's theme is Food as Medicine, and our 2019 Keynote and Intensive Presenter will be John Kempf of Advancing Eco Agriculture and the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast. He will connect the threads of soil health, plant health, and human health.
In crafting your proposal, please give particular thought to the audience you intend to target. Is this for advanced or beginning practitioners? Is it for farmers, gardeners, policymakers, or landscapers? If your presentation cuts across knowledge sectors (ie., a permaculture approach to farming, building soil with poultry, garden design for beekeepers) then please be explicit in your proposal.
The workshop deadline is September 15th 2018, but we strongly recommend that you contact the Workshops Coordinator, Caro (email@example.com) to discuss your topic before submitting. Some topics have only a few available spots and may fill quickly, as workshop are accepted on a rolling basis. By discussing your proposal in advance, we may be able to help you shape or shift your topic to better fit our program.
Presenters receive a $50 honorarium, conference admission, and an organic lunch.
Please send questions to WCWorkshops@nofamass.org.
