If you are interested in sending your child to The Volcano School of Arts and Sciences for SY 25-26, please complete the Admissions Application form below. One submission per child. Paper forms are also available in the office.

We hold our annual enrollment lottery in the Spring in anticipation of the upcoming school year. The external lottery will be held on Thursday, April 10th at 3:00pm for those grade levels that will have anticipated openings. Students offered enrollment as a result of the lottery have 15 days to notify the school. Applications received after March 15 or applicants who are applying for grade levels that do not have any anticipated openings will be placed on the waitlist in the order their application has been received. Applicants will be notified once space becomes available. 

VSAS enrollment preferences include children of VSAS staff and board members and siblings of current students. In addition, VSAS has a weighted lottery for residents of Volcano and the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park who receive a total of 4 lottery numbers per child.
