Volunteering at gigs and festivals with the WBC and ARC is a fantastic way to have a really enjoyable time, get to hear some great music and meet loads of people. It's also hard work and we only look for volunteers who will represent the campaign well and do us proud. This means being punctual, reliable, respectful and sober while volunteering. Shifts are usually 6 or 8 hours long depending on the gig. Transport to events outside of Dublin is provided from Dublin, Cork and Belfast but usually volunteers need to make their way to the Dublin events themselves. In return for volunteering you get free access to the gig or festival, food, two free drinks at the end of your shift and the warm feeling of having helped a really great cause!
And remember no bar experience is required!
