In this varied role you will be directing all chalet operations from making staff rotas to ordering food and conducting chalet cleaning checks.
Cooking
You will take a hands-on approach in supporting and advising chalet hosts with their cooking - sometimes assisting during dinner service if necessary. Please describe relevant experience and qualifications in catering.

You will conduct regular chalet cleaning checks and have a hands-on approach to helping on changeover day. Please describe relevant experience in cleaning.
Staff management
You will be responsible for staff welfare, making rotas and leading team meetings. Please describe relevant experience and qualifications in team leadership, supervision or management and describe your philosophy and approach to staff management.
Possible scenario
Imagine that in the first month of the season, one of the chalet hosts is struggling to get to grips with the job. They are not cleaning the chalet quick enough on changeover day and are slow to serve meals during dinner service. You’re starting to see negative comments come through in guest feedback. How would you approach this situation?
