Noise at Healthcare facilities. What sounds do you notice? What sounds would you want to hear?

Want to be a part of a sound art project? This is a questionnaire for a project by Colette Aliman at Erasmus MC's art platform, ArtEra. Colette is a sound artist exploring how we perceive sounds in machines and buildings, as well as how our imagination can shape the sounds we wish to hear in healthcare environments.

The following questions are designed for anyone who enters or exits a hospital, including doctors, patients, visitors, nurses, plumbers, and more. Your responses will assist Colette in developing a soundscape that envisions the future of Erasmus MC, creating an auditory representation of what it could sound like. This work will then be presented on March 27th at the ArtEra gallery space at Erasmus MC.

When answering the questions please try to imagine yourself at a hospital (waiting room, hallway, patients room, ICU, consultation room, etc). Think about technological systems, interfaces, machines, ventilation..etc. Think about your listening journey through out the hospital from the entrance to your destination to your exit.
