Riders and Coaches needed!
- Riders must be in 6th to 12th grade (at least 10 years old and in 6th grade)
- Coaches: seeking competent-riding adults to accompany us on rides. Commitment can be as little as 1x a week. All coaches ("ride leaders") must pass a background check and complete online training; the team will reimburse coaches background checks.
Please complete this form to join out mailing list.
2024 Season: Registration opens 1/15 & riding 'starts' 2/1 but we'll need to see how that pans out here on Palouse!
The team is entirely volunteer run, though works under the umbrella of the Washington Student Cycling League which provides training, logistics, races, background checks, and insurance. The team is open to all kids between 6th and 12th grade who are reasonably within about 40 minutes of Moscow Mountain.
Students are expected to provide their own bicycle and helmet. Contact the coaches if you are in need of a bike. The team has a limited number of bikes available for student use.
Student ride fees for the spring 2024 season is $265. These fees cover rider insurance and 5 races. Palouse composite does not receive any of these funds. Coaches are charged $40. Scholarships are available through the league. We will update these details as available.
