Using fieldwork to deepen understanding in Geography -Bolton, 11th July, 10:00-16:00 (free event)
During this interactive and expert-led day, we will be exploring how effective use of fieldwork can make a positive different to the outcomes of young people studying Geography. Delegates can expect to explore the following:

Opportunities for fieldwork in Geography - Field Studies Council
Sharing fieldwork ideas and preparing students for assessment
how can students ‘write up’ their fieldwork experiences & data to effectively prepare for the fieldwork exam questions?
Developing students understanding of geographical language and case studies through fieldwork - OCR

In addition, this interactive afternoon will feature opportunities for networking, sharing best practice, and discussing your curriculum with national experts.
