The day-long, interactive Challenge Day program provides teens and adults with tools to tear down walls of separation, and inspires them to live, study, and work in an encouraging environment of acceptance, love, and respect. Using highly interactive and energetic activities, our Challenge Day Leaders guide participants through a carefully designed exploration of the ways people separate from each other, and model tools for creating connection and building community.
Adults don’t need to have any special skills or training – Challenge Day Leaders will meet with you the morning of the program to clarify your role. You just need to have an open heart and mind, and be willing to stay all day.
Sharing this day with special adults can be an incredible experience for our students.
Davidson will be hosting 4 day-long programs. Our 7th grade student body will be split into four groups in order to participate on October 14th, 15th, 16th, or 17th.
In light of that, we are recruiting parents, SRCS employees as well as outside agencies such as PTA, BACR, MCSV etc.
We need you to meet 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the day, so the day will begin at 7:30AM and end at 2:45PM.
Please complete the information below.
