2020 MHH Fall Scholarship Application
My Hometown Heroes scholarship candidates for the 2020 Fall semester must be a young adult survivor of cancer between the ages of 17 and 39, reside in United States and are enrolled (or plan to enroll) with a university, community college, or trade school.
OFFERINGS FOR ALL 2020 MHH FALL SCHOLARSHIP CANDIDATES:
1. Everyone is a winner. We are developing a network of business professionals to mentor any college bound survivor who applies for the MHH scholarship. You will have the opportunity to choose if you'd like to be a part of this program in the first section of the application.
2. In 2018, we opened funding opportunities for trade school professions. That's right, traditionally we have been a scholarship fund primarily for university and community college bound survivors. But if you're a young adult survivor between the ages of 17 and 39 with aspirations to become a mechanic, service technician, etc. then know there may be a funding opportunity for you.
For best chances of qualifying for financial assistance please follow instructions carefully and answer each question. Applying for a scholarship is much like applying for a job. The quality of your responses, or lack thereof will have an influence on our selection committee.
PLEASE NOTE: An 800 word (or less) essay about your cancer experience is part of this process. We recommend you have that prepared before you begin to fill out the application.
The 2020 MHH Fall scholarship application process will be open from November 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020. The review process for all MHH scholarship candidates will begin on February 15, 2020 and candidates will be notified by the end of June 2020.
Best of luck, and we thank you for your participation!
