Fall 2021 - Vendor Application for Stittsville Market At The Barn
This Fall, we will be hosting 3 fundraising markets, with market proceeds going to support THE GORD DOWNIE & CHANIE WENJACK FUND. DWF provides access to education on the true history of Indigenous people in Canada and the history and legacy of Residential Schools, and encourages reconciliation by way of their programming and events.

October 3, 9-1 - NOW FULL
November 7, 10-2
November 28, 10-2

The market is situated inside the log barn at 6154 Abbott St. East, next to the Village Square Park in Stittsville.

We seek to provide local, sustainable, homemade and/or produced products to our community. We are always looking for more farmers to join our beautiful quaint market. We value supporting local farmers who use organic and holistic practices in farming.

We will be doing our best to limit duplicate types of product/business but there may be overlaps and there is no guaranteed exclusivity.

Markets operate rain/snow or shine. As the market is both outside and inside an old barn without heat, please dress appropriately and bring necessary coverings so you are comfortable.

VENDOR SPACE: ONLY OUTSIDE SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Spaces can accommodate a 10x10 tent. Vendors are responsible to provide their own table, chair, and umbrella/covering if applicable.

PARKING: There is no onsite parking and limited street parking. After you have unloaded your product, we ask you to move your vehicle further down Abbott St. East to accommodate customer vehicles closer to the Barn. There is municipal parking just off of Main St.

ELECTRICITY: Our barn runs on solar power for lighting so we are limited in its use for other appliances. Power packs are encouraged for any vendor who requires electricity. Low noise generators may be considered.

WASHROOMS: There are no washroom facilities on site at the Barn. There are however, local coffee shops located near the market.

SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted on or near the market. If you must smoke, please cross over Abbott St or to the opposite side of the Trans Canada trail.

$30 a day

To secure you spot as a seasonal vendor, payment will be due once your application has been approved.

Due to COVID-19, there may be a few adjustments remaining in affect. This may change based upon Ottawa Public Health requirements.

- Masks (or appropriate Plexiglas barriers) may continue to be required.
