CAAAS Day Black History Month Celebration
On February 1, 2023, Colorado Governor Jared Polis proclaimed February the 1st, the first day of Black History Month each year, as the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) Day. The Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) is a new center at the University of Colorado Boulder, and we cordially invite all students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members to come to the CAAAS Day Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Glenn Miller Ballroom, UMC (1669 EUCLID AVE, BOULDER, CO 80309). The CAAAS Day Black History Month Celebration will feature food, music, dance, poetry, and other Africana cultural expressions.
