CBED Professional Development Workshop Registration
The Center for Black Educator Development is offering a series of free workshops to school leaders and teachers grounded in some of our cultural proficiency competencies and pursuits. All workshops are 2 hours long and will be held virtually. There will be a maximum of 60 educators allowed to register for each workshop offered. Although the workshops are not designed to be a series we highly encourage you to attend as many workshops as you can for your respective educator group (teacher or school leader).

Collaborating with Families through a Culturally Proficient Lens
In order for family engagement to be meaningful and lasting, the goal must be to create a systemic culture of collaboration. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to utilize self reflective tools that will assist them in strengthening their relationships with families, explore strategies for increasing family engagement, and examine recommendations for establishing and sustaining connections with families over time.
