UP AME Takbo Para Sa Japan Runners Sign-up Form

We are pleased to invite you to Takbo Para Sa Japan (TPSJ), a pledge run on July 23, 2011, Philippine-Japan Friendship Day at 6:00 am around the UP Diliman’s Academic Oval.

TPSJ is a fund-raising project of the UP Center for International Studies in partnership with the University of Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME), the University of the Philippines Red Cross Youth (UP RCY), and the University of the Philippines Philippine-Japan Friendship Club (UP Tomo-kai). It is one of UP Diliman’s contributions to the UP System's "Earthquake-Tsunami Sympathy Activities" in response to UP President Alfredo Pascual's call to “mobilize its constituents, especially those who have benefited from studies in universities and other institutions of higher learning in Japan, to pool resources to contribute to efforts to help those who deserve assistance.”

Considering the historical and academic ties between the University of the Philippines (UP) and Japan, UP joins the rest of the world in mourning the tragic loss of thousands of lives and helping raise funds for its rebuilding efforts.

Participants are required to submit the following during registration:

a) Registration form (For walk-in participants only). Those who have pre-registered will only need to confirm their attendance.

b) 200PHP (per person) which entitles the runner to one lap (2.2 kms) around the UP Diliman Academic Oval and a race kit consisting of a sports drink, a baller and a bib. An additional 200 PHP shall be charged for every succeeding lap.
