Summer Sea Lab New Student Application Deadline: May 1, 2026
Sea Lab is now accepting Summer Sea Lab applications from students who are currently in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.  Sea Lab prioritizes applications for students who are currently enrolled in New Bedford Public Schools but is open to all students from schools in the surrounding areas if space is available.  Sea Lab is a hands-on marine science based summer program that utilizes New Bedford's East Beach for swimming, sailing, and rowing.  

Summer Session Dates: Sea Lab begins on Monday July 6 and ends on Friday July 31.  The hours are 8:30AM to 2PM, Monday through Friday.  

Tuition: Currently enrolled NBPS students: $450
Any students enrolled in a school that is not NBPS: $600

Transportation and scholarships are available.

Please complete one application per child if you are applying for multiple children.
