Forecast/Forward Series: Conversations with practitioners working at the intersection of arts, culture, place and equity
Forecast is excited to offer a new way to deepen our understanding of the trends, shifts, and innovative new work being done in the public art field through a monthly series this fall through December. The Forecast/Forward Series will feature conversations with practitioners working at the intersection of arts, culture, place and equity. We’re taking stories off the pages of our magazine Public Art Review (PAR) and bringing them to you direct from leading practitioners and artists. This series of conversations is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about and keep pace with work happening at the intersection of arts, culture, place and equity.

Artists Kealoha Ferriera and Olivia Levins Holden will share how artists are standing up and fighting back against colonization and protecting land and water, from Puerto Rico to Mauna Kea, and how this impacts the future of public art in the U.S. The discussion is facilitated by Candida Gonzalez, Forecast public art consultant.
