Hello potential poppers!
Thank you for your interest in joining the Pop Up Choir!

Formed in 2009 and based in Kennington, South-East London, The Pop-Up Choir is a 25-piece acappella rabble specialising in unforgettable arrangements of high-energy crowd pleasers, from pop and indie classics to spine-tingling soul from Prince, En Vogue, Mark Ronson, Fleetwood Mac, Imogen Heap, Laura Mvula and more.
We are delighted to be led by Musical Director and Scottish singer-songwriter Genevieve Dawson.

Our previous performances include collaborations with Shlomo at the Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall, singing atop the World’s Highest Cinema at the Shard as well as events at Oxo Tower, Peckham Levels, The Ritzy, Peckham Liberal Club, Number 90 bar, Flat Iron Square as well as pop up wedding proposals, preview nights, festivals and parties.

- We sing in 4 or 5-part harmony: SAATB as Sopranos, Alto 1s, Alto 2s, Tenors and Bass.
- We rehearse every Tuesday evening 7-9pm in a Kennington pub.
- We have three terms a year that run roughly to the school calendar
- Choir subs are £85 per 12-week term and include a weekend workshop.
- We limit the number of members to 8 per voice part, and we occasionally have spaces for new members who are confident singers able to pick up the repertoire quickly.

To help us, would you mind taking a couple of moments to fill in this form and we will contact you when the next round of auditions occur.

Thanks so much
- The Pop-Up Choir.
