NOTE: This event has now passed. If you have bikes, gear, and accessories you'd like to donate, we encourage you to visit one of Bike Works' permanent drop off locations in/around Seattle. Those locations and open hours are listed here:

JOIN US! 350 Seattle's Transportation Team & Neighborhood Mutual Aid Pods are hosting a bike collection in support of Bike Works to make bicycle-transportation more accessible for all. Drop off your unwanted bicycles (even if they need repair), bike parts, and bike accessories to to Bike Works so they can get them into good working condition and make them available to the community. This is a critical time to distribute bikes across Seattle, as cycling is a virus-safe and cheap way to move through the city. Plus, with bike sales soaring since the pandemic started, many shops only have expensive options still available.
THE LOGISTICS: Starting on September 20, we're hosting drop-off sites in West Seattle, South Seattle, Capitol Hill, Magnolia the U-District, Ballard, Northeast Seattle, and Woodinville. Please fill out the following form if you have bikes or bike parts/accessories to donate, and we'll be in touch with you about the closest drop-off site. Note: we are planning to deliver all of the bikes to Bike Works on Saturday, September 26.
MORE DETAILS ON BIKE WORKS: Each year, Bike Works fixes up thousands of bikes and distributes them to youth, adults, and families across Southeast Seattle. Through bike giveaways and youth programs, Bike Works aims to make cycling accessible, affordable, and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, abilities, and incomes. More details here:
