Lawn to Habitat Program Application
We are the Conejo Valley Audubon Society, and we want to help turn your yard into a native habitat for wildlife! Fill out all of the following to be entered into the 2019 Lawn to Habitat Grant Program. Winners will each get $200 worth of native plants and a one-on-one consultation on planting and care. All those who submit an application will get access to DIY materials to help them make the transition from lawn to habitat themselves! Winners will be chosen based on fit with the CVAS mission. Applications will be accepted until August 15th. Winners will be contacted by August 31st.
-Must have some lawn, non-native plants, or unlandscaped area available for replacement
-Must be the owner of the property or have the owner's written permission
-Must be located in Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park or Camarillo
-Must be able to schedule a site visit in October or November 2019 and ready to plant in November or December of 2019
-Must allow CVAS to post their name, along with before and after photos of the makeover, on its website and in publications and videos describing the makeover
-Must sign the CVAS waiver of liability
