WRCCDC 2020 Volunteer Sign-Up
The 2019 WRCCDC will be held in the middle of March this year. The date will be March 19-22, 2020

The general schedule is as follows:

Friday and Saturday - Competition: 10AM - 6PM
Friday Evening Recruiting Mixer 7-9PM
Sunday morning - Awards Breakfast, Q&A and Awards Ceremony is open to all: 9:30AM - Noon
Sunday afternoon - Cleanup

Volunteers working the morning shift will be fed lunch and those working the afternoon shift will be fed dinner.

POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

Pre-competition Setup
Assist with setting up the competition, including distribution of supplies and technology.
Traffic Generator
AKA "Orange Team" - Contribute to the competition environment by generating “friendly traffic” on the Blue Teams’ networks, generate scenario traffic that might include phone calls, web browsing and other activities. Final schedule will be assigned by the Orange Team Coordinator.
Competition Control
Ensure only authorized people enter the competition area. Serve as lost and found. Hold competitors from entering the competition area until given the approval by the White Team Leader Floor Judge.
Presentation Judge
Evaluate and score presentations while providing feedback to competitors. Bring a device to submit feedback to an online form.
INELIGIBLE POSITIONS
Serving on one or the positions below makes students ineligible to compete in future WRCCDC competitions. This does not include invitationals.
Inject Judge
Works with a team of Judges to score Blue Team deliverables and providing feedback to Blue Teams on report quality. (ineligibility: 2 seasons)
Area Monitor
Monitor competition area ensuring competition rules are being followed.  Not allowed to interrupt or assist Blue Teams without authorization. Seek White Team Floor Judge for assistance if you have an issue. (ineligibility: 2 seasons)
Red Room Rep
Evaluates incident response submissions on Red Team exploits. Rewards points to Blue Teams for valid incident reports. Provides feedback to Blue Teams on quality of incident reports.  Position requires keen understanding of securing systems and penetration testing methods.This is position is as White Team and NOT Red Team.
Multi Media Team
Assist in recording all WRCCDC activities.  Might include: video taping, photography, interviews, video editing, etc. (ineligibility: 2 seasons)

Feeding: those working the morning shift will be fed lunch and those working the late afternoon & evening shifts will be fed in the evening.
