As part of Manchester Chargers 2021-2022 annual strategy we will be investing heavily in our own members, developing more referees and coaches than ever before! Learning how to referee provides players with an enhanced understanding of the game enabling them to improve their own performance, as well as ensuring we have the necessary skills to properly officiate our own games and run our much loved regional tournaments.

As play and training has been cancelled during lockdown and our members have continued to pay membership, we have accrued a small pot of funds that we would normally spend on pitch hire. We would like to use these funds to give back to our players, so that's what we are doing!

The Referee course is open to all players, regardless of experience level. The only thing we ask is that you use your new referee skills to give back to club and the sport! This might mean refereeing during training sessions and as you become more confident, refereeing league games and/or tournaments.
