From April 12th–22nd, funds will be distributed directly into the hands of those affected.
This financial assistance is exclusively for households impacted by the flood. Each eligible household will receive a one-time monetary grant, issued to the head of household only.
This kōkua is for those who were living in their homes during the floods—those who felt it, lived it, and are still carrying it. With aloha, we share that this support is not for landlords, but for the families who were there.
To ensure no one is left behind, our team will be going directly into each flood affected neighborhood to reach families who may not have transportation to meet us.
For those we are unable to connect with during neighborhood visits, please come to one of the following locations to receive financial assistance:
• Monday, April 20th — Waialua Courthouse (66-207 Kamehameha Hwy) from 3pm–6pm
• Tuesday, April 21st — Kahuku Village Association (56-576 Kamehameha Hwy) from 3pm–6pm
For our Waiʻanae ʻOhana: On Wednesday, April 22nd, our team will be conducting home visits to connect directly with families in need. Please be sure to fill out this Lahui Foundation Financial Assistance application.
To ensure fairness and integrity in this process, all applicants will go through a vetting process. We kindly ask that you provide valid identification and proof of residency. Applicants must provide truthful and accurate information. Lāhui Foundation reserves the right to verify all details and deny duplicate or fraudulent requests. Priority will be given to households that have been displaced, are living in unsafe or unfit conditions, and those with vulnerable members, including kūpuna, keiki, and individuals with disabilities.
For those outside of the North Shore, Koʻolauloa, and Waianae, we will continue to collect donations to mālama your communities. We kindly ask for your patience as we work to organize a designated day to provide financial assistance. Please be sure to fill out this application so that we can connect with you.
We remain committed to supporting all families affected by the floods by providing supplies and financial assistance wherever possible.
Lāhui Foundation is 100% volunteer-based, powered by dedicated community members serving with aloha throughout this recovery. We are deeply grateful for this community, your support is what allows us to show up for one another in times of need.
