Fermi Community Orchestra Hybrid Session
We are back! String Orchestra Session "in person" (15 person limit, but can hold two groups), and online Full Orchestra Session. Please see below the list of rehearsal dates and modalities. Session includes bi-weekly (every other week) rehearsals, sectional clinics with top music professionals, and possible outdoor in person events for all musicians at the the end of the session. Concerts will resume once it is safe to do so. Chamber ensembles are also offered if interested.

Session Dates February 28th - June 13th - NO AUDITIONS REQUIRED
String Orchestra rehearsals will take place bi-weekly Sundays, 7-8:30pm at Farnsworth Offices, 1444 Farnsworth Ave, Aurora, IL and will move to Batavia United Methodist Church when they re-open to the public. Full Orchestra rehearsals will alternate Sundays, 7-8:30pm via Zoom link.

May 24: Full Orchestra (Final)
June 6: No rehearsal
June 13: Date of possible outdoor in person FULL Orchestra reading session

* Other in person/live stream performance opportunities will be offered as they are safely able during the session.

About Session Fees
The Fermi Community Orchestra is a volunteer adult ensemble funded entirely by the contributions of its members. We rely on these contributions to provide the tools and facilities to rehearse and perform free concerts to the community, invite guest artists, and bring in top instrumental clinicians for specialized training.

Fermi Community Orchestra will never turn away any interested musician due to financial hardship.
