As of now, we are creating short videos to be used on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube (about 90 sec long), with the possibility of longer videos for YouTube in the future! This video will also be seen on your member profile on our website!
What Can I expect on the day of recording?
-It will just be Cassie who will arrive, so no need to worry about an audience!
-In order to capture all the shots that we will need and to have time for interview questions, please reserve about an hour of your day for the recording.
- Cassie will ask a series of questions, which if requested, can be sent ahead of time.
- All recordings are done by cellphone at this time.
-Don't worry about being nervous, Cassie will do her best to make the interview as fun and light as possible for everyone! If there is a specific activity that your business would like to have featured, for example: a building project you are currently working on, or an event you are hosting, please be sure to mention this below!
When can I expect to see my video?
This all depends on how many videos have been recorded and scheduled ahead of you, but Cassie should be able to give you a rough estimate on when your video will be posted after your recording.
We hope to start featuring our Member Spotlight video's every Wednesday, but for now it may be every other Wednesday or so depending on how many videos are requested and recorded.
Will I receive a copy of my video?
Yes! This is one of the reasons we want to start doing this for our members, so that you can have a video to share to your website, social media etc. You will be sent the original video once the editing is done and has been posted on the Camano Island Chambers social media. Please be sure to mention/tag the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce!
