Screening Saturday, April 13, 12:00 - 3:00pm, Trinity Hall
All are invited to the preview of TEILHARD: Visionary Scientist, a
television biography of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J., written and
produced by parishioners Frank and Mary Frost. This 2-hour documentary,
13 years in the making, tells the story of an early 20th Century
French Jesuit priest and scientist, who in relentless pursuit of the
everlasting on earth, encounters fame, love, and implacable opposition
from his church. Despite exile and lifelong censorship, his
transformational insights into science and faith provide a prophetic
legacy for our technological age. Frank and Mary will host a brief
Q&A after the film. The documentary will be broadcast on Maryland
Public Television in mid-May. Refreshments will be served.
Parking will be available at Georgetown Visitation, 1524 35th Street, NW.
