A commercial presentation is one in which the presenter -- serving as an official representative of a company OR nonprofit organization -- specifically promotes the use of that organization's products/resources. This differs from a non-commercial presentation where perhaps a teacher discusses a variety of products/services as part of a "best practices" or "case study" presentation. (There will be a limited number of commercial sessions available for exhibitors only. Fee: $200 for commercial exhibitors and no charge for nonprofit/educational exhibitors.)

Audiovisual Equipment Information
All lecture and activity rooms will include the following audiovisual equipment: extension cord, power strip, screen, and cable to hook up a laptop. Lecture rooms only will also have a table podium with a microphone.

Equipment NOT provided: CD player; iPod hookup; DVD player; LCD projector; laptop; laser pointer; lapel microphone -- contact the Burlington Sheraton to rent additional A/V equipment at speaker's expense.

Internet Access Requested? *
All requests for Internet access will be reviewed based on the content of your proposal. However, Internet access is not guaranteed.
Lead Speaker Contract
Please read each of the following statements carefully:

As a professional in the fields of health and physical education, I must be a current member of SHAPE America, and I must register for the conference.

No A/V equipment will be provided except for what is listed above.

If there are additional speakers, as the Lead Speaker I will ensure all speakers working in the fields of health and physical education are current SHAPE America members. In addition, I will ensure that they register for the conference.

If there are additional speakers who do not work in the HPE profession, I will request an exemption allowing them to present using the comments field below. I understand I will receive notification of exemption approval in the program acceptance letter, and will need to request a Guest Badge from the Conference Director at that time.

No honorarium will be paid for any presentation made.

Speakers involved in business ventures are not to overly promote and may not sell products during a presentation. Selling may only be done from the commercial exhibit area.
