Generation Celebration
4-H Youth in Grades 3 and up are invited to join Dunn County 4-H and staff from the Neighbors Nursing Home as we learn about and celebrate their residents!
We will be hosting a 5 part in person/virtual hybrid series where 4-H youth will interview a resident at the Neighbors and write and present their story. We will be meeting on the following days and locations:
  • Saturday April 11, 10am-Noon: in person at the County Government Center
  • Thursday, April 16, 6:30-7:30pm: virtual via Zoom
  • Saturday, April 18, 10am-Noon: in person at the Neighbors
  • Thursday, April 23, 6:30-7:30pm: virtual via Zoom
  • Tuesday, April 28, 5:00-7:30pm: in person presentations and meal at the Neighbors
In addition to learning from and building connections with the residents, the youth will also learn valuable interviewing, writing, and public speaking skills! We're excited for this new collaboration, and hope that you can join us!

We are asking parents to attend with their youth.

Registration will close on April 6.

Although this program is being offered for free, there are costs associated with it that will be covered by grants and the extension office. Staff and volunteers are also spending time putting on this event. Additionally, we need an accurate count of participates to effectively put on this program.
