GO! Athletes | Listserv & Information

GO! Athletes provides support to current and former LGBTQ athletes at both the recreational and competitive levels. Whether an athlete has their name on the back of their jersey or pick-up games are more their style, anyone who identifies as LGBTQ and is connected to athletics is welcome in the GO! Athletes network.

We aim to support the most diverse network of athletes possible in regards to ability geographical/school location, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation and identity, and gender diversity, as well as other less visible identities within our movement. Additionally, GO! Athletes is committed to training and empowering diverse new leaders in order to encourage strong partnerships and develop resources dedicated to marginalized and underrepresented groups within the space of LGBTQ athletics.

Every experience is different: we recognize people may be at varying levels of comfort with being open to others or out with regards to their sexual orientation and gender identity. In some cases, it may not be comfortable or safe to be out. Being out is not a requirement of being in GO! Athletes. We respect each individual’s experience, and as such, all information disclosed within this form will remain internal and will not be shared with external parties (such as schools and/or other GO! Athletes Members).

Please fill out this form to receive information about GO! and get involved!
