CULTURAL ARTS – RESIDENCY WEEK in MAY

We need extra help for the week-long residency sponsored by the HSA. In the past we have welcomed Bach to Rock and the circus!

This is a tremendous learning event for our 4th grade class as well as supplemental activities for all of our other grade levels. As such, we need help from our parents for the coordination of these supplemental activities including planning & decorating for this special week. However, we need parents to lead this effort under our Cultural Arts Committee, in order to enhance this experience for all of our children.

May 2024 - Help seek out 4th grade talent and organize two or more practices. Create a program and present the Talent Show to students and parents of performers. This is a much-loved event!

4TH GRADE COMMENCEMENT PARTY

June 2024 - Work with a committee to develop a memorable post-commencement party to include games and water ice (or something similar). This is a very popular event, and the last special moment for our fourth graders.

M.A.S.H./SCHOOL STORE

Chair: Becky Ormsbee & Susan Chronister

M.A.S.H. stands for Many Able Student Helpers. Help the fourth graders raise funds for the charity of their choice. Assist on Monday and Friday mornings at the school store, as well as another TBD fundraising event. Parent volunteers will also be needed to help run the school store. The school store shifts are 8:15 to 8:45 AM.
