South Cherwell Community Larder Parcel Requests
DUE TO SHORTAGES WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW SIGN UPS UNTIL AFTER JUNE 10th.

In Partnership with SOFEA, FareShare, Shipton Olio Hub, Oxford Mutual Aid, and Banbury Citizens Advice Community, Kidlington Parish Council is providing a community larder for Cherwell.

The Community larder will be delivery only due to the existing coronavirus precautions. By filling in this electronic form you will receive your food delivery. You will also be required to complete a separate application to SOFEA which will form the basis of ongoing support from the community larder.

We will provide one food parcel per form on Saturdays, 4-7 pm. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A PARCEL PLEASE TRY TO REQUEST ONE BY 3PM ON FRIDAYS.

These parcels are to fill the gap in meals during the COVID crisis. This service is for residents of South Cherwell: Kidlington, Yarnton, Begbroke, Bletchingdon, and surrounding areas. Parcels are not intended to cover all of your meals, just to help fill gaps. Due to incredible demand, please only sign up for this service is you truly need it.

If you are from North Cherwell (Bicester (OX25, OX26, OX27), Heyfords, or Banbury), starting April 3rd, 2020, you can call Banbury Citizens Advice to arrange your parcel deliveries: 0300 3030125

If you are not in the Cherwell area please go here for assistance: https://covidmutualaid.org
Oxford residents please contact Oxford Mutual Aid for assistance: https://oxfordmutualaid.org/support.html

About me: I am Emily, a mom in Kidlington. I am trying to help local families who are having trouble filling gaps between shops due to shortages and lack of delivery slots, as well as financial difficulties due to closures.

Anyone and everyone can fill out this form. However, we are in short supply so please only fill this in if you NEED food and cannot purchase your own. If you have the funds for food, but are self isolating, please contact KASA community help and they can do a shop for you: https://kasahelp.org

All parcels are provided by SOFEA, they contain 10 longer life items and a bag of fresh fruit/veg.
