Thank you for your interest in volunteering! The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce is seeking parade monitors for the St. Patricks Day Parade on Saturday, March 15 from 10:00am to 2:00pm (parade begins at 11:00am and ends around 2:00pm)
Parade monitors will be wearing a volunteer t-shirt and neon vest provided to you and responsible for guiding assigned floats/groups/vehicles. See below for a full list of your volunteer duties:
- Regulate parade flow; Keep the parade pace slow & consistent; If there are any gaps, try to keep at least (2) car lengths between units.
- Keep all spectators on sidewalks
- Keep spectators on North side of the Pier behind barricades & our of parade flow (safety precaution)
- Direct pedestrians/spectators to cross street in designated areas without interrupting flow of parade
