Pronunciation Fair: Juggling the Features of Spoken American English
In this 90-min. workshop, designed for International Graduate students at Penn who are non-native English Speakers, we will present some key features of pronunciation that will make your speaking clearer. The workshop is free and open to master's and doctoral graduate students in any department at Penn.

The workshop agenda is as follows:
• Introduce 3 key features of American English Pronunciation (Word Stress, Thought Groups/Pausing, and Intonation)
• Break into 3 groups and rotate through practice stations: 20 min. in each station to review the rules and do practice activities
• Wrap-up at the end to discuss resources for more practice and continued development
