Bit by Bit helps kids recognize the creative power of technology and inspires a career path in tech: Kids draw objects from the future, and designers bring them to life by constructing a 3d model, viewable with virtual reality. We then 3d print the model, so that kids can now see and touch what was once a figment of their imagination. Last semester, we taught in 5 locations around the bay area, by allying ourselves with tech companies such as LinkedIn and Unity; organizations on campus such as CSM and Anova; and housing management such as national housing organization Mercy and local CCDC. This semester, we are starting new partnerships with AirBnb, Quizlet, YMCA, and others.
