NOW-NYC's Stop Monserrate Action Team
The National Organization for Women - New York City (NOW-NYC) needs your help to Stop Monserrate for City Council District 21!

Here's what you need to know about Hiram Monserrate:

- Convicted of domestic violence (2008)
- Switched to the Republican party for a power grab (2009)
- Expelled from the New York State Senate (2010)
- Guilty of misuse of public funds (2012)

Hiram Monserrate’s record proves he is incapable of representing the people of his district with the responsibility and privilege New Yorkers deserve. NOW is partnering with local allies and women to stop Monserrate: a convicted offender of domestic violence and ethics violations. The NOW members, voters and all people of East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Corona, and New York City deserve better.
