By submitting this application, participant and organization agrees to hold harmless from liability the Kaneohe Christmas Parade, its Committee and affiliates, the State of Hawaii, the City and County of Honolulu, Windward Mall, and Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center for any injury to participant(s) or damage to property in the Kaneohe Christmas Parade. All laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those created by the Kaneohe Christmas Parade Committee, are to be followed by the participants. (NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, SMOKING OR USE OF BAD LANGUAGE) *

DATES AND TIMES TO REMEMBER FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PARADE:
___1. October 24, 2019: Deadline to receive postmarked MAIL or receive in hand all 3 documents: (1) current official application form, payment,and script.
___2. November 7, 2019, at 6:30 pm: Attend a Mandatory Rep Meeting at the Kaneohe Community and Senior Center, 45–613 Puohala Street, Kaneohe, HI 96744. The leader attending the meeting should be the same leader signing in on Parade Day, Sat. December 7, 2019.
___3. December 7th: Parade Day 6:30-8:00 AM-REGISTER AND PICK UP YOUR OFFICIAL LINE UP NUMBER. SEND ONLY ONE (1) ADULT REP TO THE REGISTRATION TABLE. You will be picking up your official line-up number. Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center (KBSC) STAGING includes all marching units and bands.
WINDWARD MALL (WW Mall) STAGING includes all horses and other animals (with pooper scoopers), vehicles, cycles, carts, and special entries along with floats, trolleys and first responders. Staging of large floats, trolleys, police, and fire are parked on Haiku and Alaloa Roads.
Always be patient and ask for help from a line-up volunteer. ONCE PARKED, send an adult rep to the KBSC or WW Mall Registration Table and pick up your official line-up number.
___4. 8:15 a.m. Everyone is staged and in place. Check with line-up crew member if you are lost!
___5. NUMBER: Please see instructions below for Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center (KBSC) or Windward Mall (WM)
KBSC: 1ST person marching: Place number on your upper right chest nearest to your right shoulder. Please DO NOT place number on the banner or arm.
WM: 1ST VEHICLE – Remove tapes and place number inside of vehicle, midway of the windshield, passenger side.
___6. Stop at Castle High School (near Cafeteria or band room) for refreshments – water, juice, snacks.
___7. RETURN LINE UP NUMBER to the parade monitors at Castle High School, or mail it back.
___8. LEADER: Please bring a small first-aid kit and trash bag, and have your group pick up your unit’s rubbish.
