NZ Printmakers Survey 2020
I would greatly appreciate input from as many NZ printmakers as possible. Even if you only have time for just a few answers, this information will help us to identify what resources and support would be most helpful to printmakers, and in identifying where to invest our time and resources in the coming year. Think of it as 'digital brainstorming' of our hopes and ideas for building a thriving, diverse, vibrant printmaking community. What INFORMATION are you interested in receiving?
What would you use a SHARED PRINTMAKING SPACE to do??
We are currently looking into a possible opportunity for creating a shared printmaking space, and we would love your feedback about what facilities and workshops NZ printmakers might be interested in accessing. Even if you are not based in Auckland, perhaps you have some suggestions of how the space could be used well to support printmakers - such as an 'Open Access' space you can rent by the hour/day/week, a small gallery, a classroom for workshops, regular social gatherings / networking, a printmaking technician available via Zoom for technical advice, creating digital content, etc Tell us your ideas!!
Anything Else We Should Know...??
What happened in 2020 worth celebrating? Additional workshop suggestions? A print project or event idea you want to collaborate on? Perhaps you want to tell us about your local printmaking group? A skill you want to offer to help other printmakers? A product that you want to recommend? If you are interested in writing an article for our website? Request a topic or interview you want us to cover on our blog?
